Carman Community Pathway

Carman Community Pathway winds its way throughout Carman. The pathway links recreation areas such as King’s Park, the baseball diamonds, golf course and pool area.

Away from traffic and totally surrounded by nature, part of the pathway features a scenic river path that follows the meandering Boyne River and passes by an area of restored tallgrass prairie.


The Pathway provides ample opportunity for walking, jogging, biking and cross-country skiing and just plain enjoying nature.

Golden Prairie Arts Council

Located in the historic CN station the Golden Prairie Arts Council features a new exhibition every month in their gallery.  They also host a variety of concerts and performances regularly.   

Carman Golf and Curling Club

The 18 Hole Golf Course has been designed to appeal to golfers of all abilities, combining relatively gentle holes with more demanding challenges.  If you are visiting the course for the day or for the entire week, you will find a warm and friendly welcome at our Club.


The well-maintained ice on the curling rink is sure to impress even the most experienced curler.  This should not scare off the beginner as the curling club welcomes all skill levels.    

Carman Aquatic Centre

The Carman Aquatic Center is a great place to take the kids and relax in the summer.  It boasts 2 water-slides, fun water activities and plenty of green space to lay your towel.  

Carman Dufferin Arena

From early fall until late spring the Carman Dufferin Arena is a great place to get some exercise or shoot a puck.  Public skating and open hockey are scheduled almost every day while the ice is on.    

Carman 5 Pin Bowl

Carman 5 Pin Bowl is a great place to spend an evening with friends.  They are fully licensed and open to public bowling almost every weekend.  

Boyne Regional Library

Boyne Regional Library is one of the jewels of Carman.  Boasting the highest readership in Manitoba (per capita) it is a great place to settle down with a book or a magazine.  Or if you need to get on the internet, they have several computers for public use.   

Dufferin Historical Museum

Surrounded by the Carman Golf Course and King’s Park the Dufferin Historical Museum is superbly located for an afternoon of education and recreation.  It boasts 3 buildings including the 1870’s Sexsmith-Morgan log house, the Boyne School and a museum building full of interesting, local artifacts.  

Ryall Park

Located in the heart of Carman, Ryall Park is a great place to relax and enjoy the feel of our small town.  With a beautiful pavilion and bathrooms on site, make it your next stop for a picnic.
